GEMS aims to empower academic staff in HEIs to create gender-sensitive, engaging ICT learning environments through innovative, inclusive teaching methods. The project will also strengthen connections between HEIs and secondary schools by offering a free extracurricular ICT program to inspire girls’ interest in STEM. To support this, young women in ICT will serve as role models and mentors, fostering a supportive environment where girls can confidently explore STEM projects and careers in ICT.
Within the GEMS project, PMF Research acts as the coordinating organisation, holding overall responsibility for the project’s implementation and its relationship with the Erasmus+ National Agency. PMF oversees the administrative and financial management of the action, ensures compliance with the Grant Agreement, and supports the smooth coordination of the consortium. In addition to its coordination role, PMF is actively involved across all work packages, contributing to planning, implementation, monitoring, and reporting activities. It supports partners in the execution of tasks, oversees the timely delivery of outputs, and ensures coherence and quality across work packages, thereby contributing both strategically and operationally to the achievement of the project’s objectives.
