Innovative elearning methods and Virtual Reality in the company
MINERVA represents a breakthrough in professional training, seamlessly integrating e-learning platforms with virtual reality (VR) courses and other cutting-edge technologies. The goal is to create an immersive, engaging, and highly effective environment where educational content reflects real-life scenarios.
MINERVA enables manufacturing companies to explore new training methods by simulating both simple and complex operations. The experience, accessible via smartphones, tablets, or 3D headsets, allows workers to learn in complete safety, reducing human error and the costs associated with traditional training.
HT Apps contributed to the project by designing and developing the e-learning courses and enhancing its expertise with the development of an innovative data exchange module.
Thanks to HT Apps, MINERVA boasts a structured database capable of collecting and correlating data from the various VR courses. The infrastructure enables detailed tracking and analysis of training paths, optimising existing content and enabling the creation of even more advanced 3D courses.
The project adheres to the NGSI-LD standard defined by ETSI, which enables the neutral representation of data generated by 3D modules. The architecture, entirely cloud-based and managed via a virtualised Docker cluster, includes a module that converts NGSI-LD data into xAPI and SCORM formats, ensuring full compatibility with existing e-learning platforms.
