The EPO (European Project Office) aims at developing integrated, strategic projects and international partnerships using as financial instruments the European grants delivered directly by the European Commission.

More specifically, the activities are divided into the following tasks:

Scouting and Planning

• identification of the several R&D or technological innovation EU programmes, analysis of the eligibility rules and funding provision;
• development of the international relationships in order to create transnational partnerships, even through a network of partners already stabilised;
• drafting of the project in English, definition of the work program and related budget, submission of the application to the appropriate EU Managing Authorities.

Management

• management and coordination of financed projects in the various implementation phases (tasks division among partners, financial, legal and accounting management support, development of the specific publications, assistance to the dissemination of results, elaboration and evaluation of surveys, organisation of seminars, etc…);
• accounting of expenditures sustained, internal and external assessment of EU projects;
• drafting of technical and financial reports in English to be submitted to the EU bodies responsible for official evaluation of the project outputs.
