One of the most important research projects with JO as consultant:

SENTINELLA project - The aim of the project "Sentinella" is the creation of a new generation WSN node capable of addressing all the needs of successful control of the environment. The project involves the development of a monitoring and alarm system of photovoltaic installations. The nodes are placed on each panel in a way that can monitor in real time the fundamental parameters of the PV production (current, voltage, temperature, brightness) sending them to a remote control centre.

P.M.F. S.r.l. is taking part in the wide LLP - Comenius Network project, digital-earth.eu. This project examines the use of geographic media in schools and teacher education. Geo-media is the visualisation of information from different media sources and is concerned with digital content and its processing based on place, position and location. The digital-earth.eu network links innovative centres around Europe where geo-media use is well developed. Products, resources, experiences and ideas are shared between the centres and opened to the public wherever possible.
